He immediately sets about implementing his vision, and within months, freedom of the press is curtailed, his political rivals and critics are imprisoned, and he enforces a decree giving him unlimited political power in the country. Those closest to Hitler reveal why they chose to follow him and what they knew about his diabolic activities.
