On the Devon coast is a unique 16-sided building called A La Ronde, built by two exceptional Georgian women, Jane and Mary Parminter. But a unique room, constructed from 26,000 seashells, needs radical repair. At Kingston Lacy, a priceless art collection is in jeopardy, as a broken picture rail is in danger of collapse which could send Old Masters crashing to the ground.
