Jack Coulson, 26, will go on trial at Leeds Crown Court in November

A man is due to go on trial later this year after he denied terrorism charges over claims he downloaded a US Army manual on hand-to-hand combat.

Jack Coulson is accused of downloading the manual, which was found on a USB stick and a mobile phone, at his parents' home in July 2025.

At Leeds Crown Court earlier, the 26-year-old pleaded not guilty to two counts of possessing documents likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism and was remanded in custody.

Coulson, formerly of Mexborough, South Yorkshire, is due to stand trial at the same court on 16 November.

The trial is expected to last five days, the court heard.
