Angry Ginge has thanked fans for their support after a fire broke out at his mother's house just hours before his Soccer Aid appearance.

The content creator, from Salford in Greater Manchester, shared an update on his Instagram account on Tuesday, showing the aftermath of the blaze - which left the home severely damaged and blackened by smoke.

"As you can tell, you wouldn't think it, but right now I am in my mum's house," said the YouTuber, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle.

"The morning of Soccer Aid I get a phone call saying mum's house has burned down."

He continued: "This is what we are dealing with right now, obviously there will be more updates as we go, but at the minute, I mean yeah.

"This isn't even the worst of the worst.

"I will keep you all updated and I will be live whenever I can go live."
