Man killed in A65 collision with car

A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in North Yorkshire.

The man in his 30s died at the scene on the A65 near Giggleswick at about 11:45 BST on Sunday.

The collision at the Settle bypass junction with Brackenber Lane involved a Honda CBR 600 motorbike and a Peugeot 208.

The A65 was subsequently closed but has now reopened.

North Yorkshire Police is urging anyone who witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it – or who has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage – to make contact.
