M6 partially closed after serious lorry crash

A crash involving two lorries has closed part of the M6 in Staffordshire.

National Highways said it happened between junctions 15 and 14 heading south and police were in attendance along with the fire and ambulance services.

It said diversions had been put in place and advised people to leave the motorway at junction 15 if possible.

One witness told the BBC an air ambulance had been seen overhead.
