Man dies after being hit by lorry

A man has died after being hit by a lorry near Lincoln, police have said.

The incident happened on the A15 close to Riseholme Roundabout at about 01:04 BST, according to Lincolnshire Police.

It involved a white DAF truck and a pedestrian, who officers said died at the scene. Part of the A15 up to the roundabout was closed while emergency services attended but the force said the road reopened at 07:50.

Officers are asking anyone who may have seen the incident, or who has dashcam footage, to contact them.
