Attempted murder charge after double stabbing
James FlanaganA man has been charged with attempted murder after a double stabbing in a village in Leicestershire.
Police were called to Station Road, in Quorn, just after 18:15 BST on Thursday after receiving reports that two men in their 20s had been stabbed.
One of the men, who was found at the scene, suffered injuries to his hand and stomach, and a second man, who was later located by officers, had a stab wound to the side of his body.
Detectives have now charged Cohen Barley, 23, of Hawthorn Road in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.
He was due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Two men, 23 and 24, and a 27-year-old woman who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on bail.
