Firefighters extinguished a blaze at a caravan park where there were propane cylinders.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a static caravan at Priory Park Caravan Park in Nacton at 18:05 BST on Wednesday.

The fire spread to neighbouring caravans, the fire service said.

Crews from Ipswich East, Princes Street and Woodbridge attended and contained the fire to a single caravan by 20:20.

The ambulance service also attended and one person was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation.

CORRECTION 30 April: This article has been amended as an earlier version stated a gas cylinder exploded. Gas cylinders were on site but there was not an explosion. This was based on incorrect information from Suffolk County Fire and Rescue Service.
