One dead and six hurt as car hits takeaway
BBCA man died and six others were injured when a car hit a takeaway building in Tipton.
Emergency crews were called to High Street, Princes End at about 22:10 BST on Tuesday.
The male driver of the car was found in a critical condition but died despite receiving treatment at the scene, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
A woman and two girls who passengers in the car suffered serious injuries, while two boys in the car sustained minor injuries. A passing cyclist was also hurt, with his injuries described as minor.
The woman and two boys were taken to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital while the two girls were taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
The cyclist was discharged at the scene and left in the care of relatives, the ambulance service added.

The road was closed overnight and has since reopened, West Midlands Police said.
