Seafest will mark Bridlington's maritime heritage
RNLIPeople are being invited to celebrate Bridlington's maritime heritage next weekend.
Seafest will include demonstrations of seafaring skills, coastal traditions and local seafood. Visitors can also meet RNLI crew.
Attendees will be able to visit the marine mammal rescue team display and learn how seals and other sea mammals are looked after when they are in trouble.
The free event will be held at Bridlington RNLI lifeboat station on 6 June from 10:00 until 16:00 BST.
Meanwhile, Bridlington RNLI has reminded people heading to the water to keep a close eye on children and stick to safe areas.
