Driver dies in three-car crash
GoogleA man has died in a crash involving three cars in Walsall, in the West Midlands.
It happened on Darlaston Road, near the junction of Wellington Street, in Pleck, just before 19:15 BST on Sunday.
Officers said the driver of a white Kia, a man aged in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene.
West Midlands Police said its thoughts were with his loved ones, and members of its Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) were currently working to establish the full circumstances behind the crash.
It said the drivers of a black Mercedes and yellow Skoda Octavia remained at the scene and were assisting with inquiries.
The force said it was particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or had dashcam footage.
