Tonight will start a little drier, but soon areas of cloud and scattered showers will develop again, these easing for most on the Isles later, but falling wintry on the very highest mainland hills.

Wednesday

Tomorrow will become windy, with sunny spells and scattered showers for most. These will be heavy at times on the mainland, where they may turn thundery with a chance of hail.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday

Thursday looks to see a few further heavy showers, these most likely across the mainland, but these will gradually die out later in the day. Breezy. Friday will have variable cloud and sunny spells. A few showers at times. Saturday will gradually turn cloudy. Patchy rain will move into the western mainland into the night.
