Di senator wey dey represent Rivers West Senatorial District, Senator Ipalibo Harry-Banigo don call on President Bola Tinubu and di All Progressives Congress (APC) to chook eye into her disqualification for di APC Senate primaries.

"To be di only woman contestant na anoda reason why I dey call on di national party to look at dis in terms of equity, justice, fairness and gender.

"We get only four women for di 10th Senate of di Federal Republic of Nigeria and dis na a time wey we dey seek to add more. Dose wey dey dia already get a lot of legislative experience, a lot of oversight experience and representative experience, wey dem go need to build up on as dem go into dia second term, so dem go dey much more effective in terms of bringing back di dividends of democracy, instead of putting a green horn dia," she tok.
