Norwich City trio Kenny McLean, Anis Ben Slimane and Mohamed Toure were all in international action at the weekend as preparations for the World Cup ramp up.

McLean played 20 minutes for Scotland in their 4-0 win over Bolivia, Ben Slimane came on in the second half for Tunisia but could not prevent a 5-0 defeat by Belgium and Toure featured late on in Australia's 1-1 draw with Switzerland.

Canaries centre-back Jose Cordoba will also be at the tournament with Panama, as will Canada midfielder Ali Ahmed.

Here is a reminder of the groups the Norwich players are in and who they will face, so you can keep an eye out for them once the World Cup begins on 11 June:

• Ali Ahmed, Canada - Group B: Bosnia, Qatar and Switzerland

• Kenny McLean, Scotland - Group C: Brazil, Morocco and Haiti

• Mohamed Toure, Australia - Group D: USA, Paraguay and Turkey

Norwich City striker Mohamed Toure has been called up by Australia for this summer's World Cup.

The 22-year-old has been named in head coach Tony Popovic's 26-man squad as the Socceroos kick-off their campaign against Turkey on 14 June before facing tournament co-hosts USA and a final group game against Paraguay.

Toure played 80 minutes in Australia's 1-0 friendly defeat by Mexico at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena at the weekend.

After arriving from Danish club Randers in the winter transfer window, Toure scored 10 goals in 12 appearances in his first season for the Canaries.

His selection follows the news that Toure's Norwich team-mate, Ali Ahmed, was announced in the Canada squad for this summer's tournament on Saturday.

Norwich City manager Philippe Clement claims the Canaries need to sharpen their attack after they were beaten 2-1 by Hull City at the MKM Stadium.

Norwich were in control when they took the lead through Mohamed Toure and Clement felt they should have scored more in their final Championship game.

The Belgian has guided Norwich away from the bottom to finish ninth during his six-month reign, but he feels there is much more work to do.

Clement told BBC Radio Norfolk: "I think we were the better team today in this game, but we gave two easy goals away.

"We had control of the game, we scored a very good goal, but in the second half, we didn't create enough. That's something we have to work on in the summer.

"We need to add quality in certain positions so we can finish off games because the team has massively come on physically, tactically, we're also dominating games and playing good football.

"We're creating enough chances, but we have to finish off the job.

"That's the most important part of the game and we're going to work hard on that over the summer to make it better."

Scotland midfielder Kenny McLean will miss Norwich City's final Championship game of the season - but there are no concerns about this summer's World Cup.

The 34-year-old has played 51 games during the current campaign - including six for Scotland - and scored in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Swansea City.

"I want to reassure all my Scottish friends that there is totally nothing to worry about," head coach Philippe Clement told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"He just blocked in a movement in a training session and it's too short a time now to de-block it for the game tomorrow. He will not be available but in a few days it will be better.

"These things can happen. It's a pity - anyone who knows Kenny knows he wants to play every minute and train every minute also, so he's totally gutted about it.

"He's been available almost all season and I'm sure he's going to play a top World Cup and be ready for that."

Ninth-placed Norwich end the season away to Hull City and although they cannot reach the play-offs, they could have a say in who does make them, as the Tigers are competing with Wrexham and Derby County for sixth place.

Oscar Schwartau will also miss the trip to East Yorkshire and Ben Chrisene, meanwhile, has now had shoulder surgery and should be fit in time for pre-season.

This could potentially have been a play-off qualifying shootout but, as it is, only Hull City have something viable to go for on Saturday (12:30 BST).

The Tigers must better Wrexham's result against Middlesbrough to take the final top-six place on offer.

• After winning 2-0 in November, Hull could complete their first league double over Norwich since 1970-71.

• Norwich have only won one of their past eight league trips to Hull (D3 L4), although are unbeaten in their past two (W1 D1).

• Hull have only managed to win their final league game in one of the past 21 seasons (D9 L11), a 5-1 victory over Rotherham United in 2015-16.

• After beating Cardiff 4-2 last season, Norwich could win their final league match of back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2011-12/2012-13 in the Premier League.

• Since Philippe Clement took charge of Norwich for the first time on 22 November, only three teams have picked up more points in the Championship than the Canaries (56).

Norwich City boss Philippe Clement took pride in his side's "mentality and quality" despite a 1-1 draw with Swansea ending their play-off ambitions.

The Canaries could have been in the mix for the last play-off spot on the final day of the season after both sixth-placed Wrexham and seventh-placed Hull lost at the weekend, but needed to win both their remaining two games to be in with a chance.

However, Clement was quick to praise his team, which has risen from the bottom three to ninth place under the Belgian's guidance.

"The players did amazing stuff in the last couple of months," Clement said. "They showed they were playing for this badge.

"Today they went behind, you are disappointed, but they dug in and went for the equaliser and after they went for the second goal.

"We were the best team in the first half. We should have scored two or three.

"In the second half, from the side it looked a clear penalty on [Mohamed] Toure but we don't get that one. They are massive decisions that go against us.

"But I am proud of what the team is showing in mentality and quality."

Norwich City head coach Philippe Clement has spoken to the media before the Canaries' Championship match against Swansea City on Saturday (15:00 BST).

Here are some of the key points:

• On the chances of Norwich making the play-offs: "I read somewhere there is 0.7% chance or something that we make the play-offs. The same computer gave the club 37% chance to go down when I took over... all we can do is go full for the three points and we will see."

• Kellen Fisher (pictured) made his 100th appearance for Norwich last time out. Clement says his initial impression of the full-back was that he might struggle against some of the "beasts" in the Championship, and that he has been proven wrong. He is one of the surprises from the squad he inherited.

• Winger Ali Ahmed should return to the squad providing he does not have any setbacks from Friday's training.

• Defender Ruari McConville is back in the squad after pulling out of the starting line-up against Derby County on Tuesday with sickness.

• On the topic of VAR not being brought in for the Championship, Clement says he respects the opinions of others, but he believes it would be beneficial for a number of reasons, including player safety and getting decisions right.

• Clement says he thinks the match with Swansea will be a good watch for any neutrals as both teams try and play good football.
