Introduction
The smash hit series Planet Earth, which wowed the nation pulling in more than 12 million viewers to BBC ONE in the spring, returns this autumn to continue the ultimate portrait of our planet - after four years in the making.

Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the second part of Planet Earth continues the thrills and surprises - promising to equal this year's most talked about documentary, which was recently voted programme of the year at The Guardian International TV Festival.
