Parents of di students wey terrorist kidnap wen dem dey write dia Neco exams for Govment Secondary School, Lassa, Askira/Uba Local Govment Area of Borno State, say dem don dey inside serious fear and tension since di incident happun.
Some of di parents tell BBC Hausa say since Monday morning wen dem hear about di attack, dia lives don change bicos till now dem neva know wia dia children dey or even wetin don happun to dem.
Dem say wetin dey worry dem pass be say till now, authorities neva give detailed information about how many students di terrorists kidnap and wetin dey happun wit di efforts to rescue dem.
One resident of Lassa, wey no wan make dem mention im name sake of security reasons, tell BBC Hausa say e rush go di school afta e hear gunshots, but wen e reach, e see pipo dey run to save dia lives.
"My children survive, but many pipo still no know wia dia children dey. We don go hospitals and places wia security pipo gada survivors, but we neva see dem. Now, di only tin we fit do na to pray."
E tok say dem believe say di attackers kidnap at least 50 students, although security pipo later rescue eight of dem.
One mama tok say since she hear say dem attack di school wia her daughter bin dey write exam, she neva get peace of mind.
"We send our children go school make dem write exams. We neva tink say dem go carry dem comot from dia classrooms. We pray make God bring dem back to us safely."
Reports tok say di attack happun around 9am on Monday, wen students still dey write dia Neco exams.
Witnesses tok say some suspected Iswap fighters enta Lassa town on motorcycles and head straight to di Govment Secondary School afta dem pass through di town market wey dey open evri Monday.
As dem reach di school, dem begin shoot, and evriwia scata as students, teachers and oda pipo for di school compound begin run.
Dem later kidnap some of di students and women wey dey sell food for di school compound bifor dem escape enta bush.
Di Public Relations Officer of Borno State Police Command, DSP Nahum Daso, confam di attack.
E tok say security forces clash wit di attackers shortly afta di attack and stop dem from achieving all di tins dem plan.
"Di attack on Lassa Govment Secondary School happun around 9am. Di attackers open fire and kidnap unknown number of students. Di Commissioner of Police don deploy di Askira/Uba Area Commander wit additional security personnel, and dem still dey search for di attackers inside di bush," e tok.
E add say di police neva finish assessing di exact number of pipo wey dem kidnap bicos investigation still dey go on.
