FACTS

Video Nation was first shown on BBC TV in 1993.

It is an opportunity to share your views and experiences with others, to talk directly to both local and national audiences and to add your videos to the growing online archive of everyday life.

In June 2001, four local BBC stations took part in a pilot to bring Video Nation to the internet. BBC Oxford is one of a further 15 stations now involved.

Contributors are from all backgrounds and ages. Presently, the oldest is 80, the youngest 10!
