Eating out
This clip tells the difference between eating in a ristorante and a trattoria. It shows diners describing their pizza - a range of toppings from the basic to the exotic.

Bologna
This clip shows a variety of pasta and pasta making in a cookery school in Bologna where people go to from all around the world to learn the art of making homemade pasta.

Ordering meals
This clip shows a family ordering first and second courses and drinks in a restaurant. There is good vocabulary, particularly of seafood because the setting is a restaurant by the Mediterranean.

Italian ice cream
This clip shows that lots of ice-cream is sold in Italy and that there are lots of flavours - even a risotto one! There is even an academy for ice-cream in Italy.
