The hen-pecked husband of Deborah, Rick's a Senior Partner at The Chase. He's put upon and nagged to death by his wife but he loves his work and is a close associate of the Williams family. The only person who really seems to understand what he goes through is Clare.
Amongst Reece Dinsdale's credits are nuclear horror Threads, generation-gap sitcom Home to Roost, dark cop show Conviction and Love Lies Bleeding. He's also guest-starred in Spooks and Born and Bred.
Deborah Johnson (played by Janet Dibley)
Rick's domineering wife Deborah is the very bossy Practice Manager of The Chase. An old nag, and snobby to go with it, Deborah doesn't have a nice word to say about anyone or anything. She's always right and happy to let everyone know.
Janet Dibley has appeared in TV shows including Fat Friends, EastEnders, Casualty and The Bill.
Clare Burnes (played by Sunetra Sarker)
Clare is the Practice Nurse at The Chase. Her rip-roaring sense of humour keeps everyone happy, especially Rick.
Sunetra Sarker started out in the soaps, playing Nisha in Brookside, Jyoti in London Bridge and Priti in Emmerdale. Recently she turned to comedy, with roles in The Smoking Room, Ideal and No Angels.
Margaret Wright (played by Rachel Davies)
A Practice Nurse, Margaret's been at The Chase since the building was built. Margaret is always there - and always happy to gossip about it.
Rachel Davies' many TV credits include playing Donna Parker in Coronation Street, parts in Boon, Linda Green, Band of Gold, Nice Guy Eddie, Bodies and, most recently Trial and Retribution.
Matt Lowe (played by Liam Garrigan)
The most junior Practice Nurse at The Chase, Matt has dreams of leaving it all behind and becoming a rock star.
Actor Liam Garrigan's previous roles include Nic Yorke in Holby City and Ed Dwyer in Ultimate Force.
Adrian Huby (played by Paul Opacic)
A local farmer and old flame of Sarah.
Paul Opacic's TV credits include Peak Practice, Totally Frank, Bad Girls and Vincent.
William Montgomery (played by Guy Henry)
The eldest son of the late Lord Montgomery, William has taken his father's title and responsibility of the estate. The Chase's best client, he holds a long standing respect for George and his two daughters.

Sebastian Montgomery (played by Adam Croasdell)
William Montgomery's younger brother and old friend of Adrian Huby. Sebastian is good looking and charming, and keen to avoid any of the business of the family estate. Involved in the music business, he is good at making money, and attracting female attention.
Adam Croasdell's TV credits include Ultimate Force, The Project, London's Burning and Holby City.
On the big screen, Adam's starred in Girls Club, The Harvester, Too Much Too Young and Avalanche.
Frank Jones (played by Philip Jackson)
Fiona's estranged father, Frank returns to Oxley unexpectedly. He doesn't have many friends in the village, as it is common knowledge that he left his wife and young daughter for another woman. Only Fiona knows that the other woman was in fact Anna and Sarah's mother Imogen, who decided to remain with George and the girls at the last minute.
Philip Jackson's TV credits include Foyle's War, A Touch of Frost, Heartbeat, Hustle, Little Britain and Poirot.
On the big screen, he's appeared in Little Voice, I Want Candy and Brassed Off.
Liam Higgins (played by Christian Louis Cooke)
Liam is Claudie's younger brother. Only nineteen and a bit of a rogue, he appears during the series after having been let out of a young offenders institute.

Paula Higgins (played by Rebekah Manning)
Paula is Claudie's younger sister. Claudie set Paula up as a beautician in order to turn her life around. Paula arrives in the village to be with her sister and causes chaos in the practice as half the contents of her salon seem to arrive with her. Blonde and bubbly, she is close to her sister but likes to remain on good terms with everyone.
