Music Metadata: Segments / Tracklists
On iBroadcast there are four different types of segments: Music, Speech, Chapters and Highlights.
- Music segments are the most frequently used and make up most of our music played lists on /programmes
- Speech segments are a good way to indicate a speech item of note (e.g. a piece of poetry)
- Chapters and Highlights are not currently in use
Segments can arrive on the /programme pages from various routes but when using iBroadcast you can either batch add or add segments individually.
