Brian explains what it was like making the leap into being a full time writer and why fear is good!
He shares some of the radio shows and writers that influenced him when he was growing up. He talks about the challenges of taking on work by writers like Tolkien and Lewis and retaining the 'authorial voice'. He also talks about how he became involved with the Peter Jackson films of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
Brian also gives his advice to budding writers for radio and what he thinks the future is for attracting new listeners to Radio Drama.
