Calvin Miller hopes to "make a name" for himself and Hearts in Europe after agreeing to join from Falkirk on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The Scottish Premiership runners-up say the 28-year-old winger will arrive on 25 June.

Miller, who had been linked with a move to Celtic earlier in the season, was under contract until next summer and scored nine goals in 47 appearances as he helped Falkirk finish sixth in their first season back in the top flight.

The former Scotland youth player had played a pivotal part in the Bairns' back-to-back promotions from League 1 to the Premiership.

He started his career with Celtic and has featured for Dundee, Ayr United, Greenock Morton as well as spells with Harrogate Town, Notts County and Chesterfield.

"I'm buzzing, it's been in the pipeline for a while, I'm just glad that I'm finally here and got the deal all signed," Miller, 28, told Hearts TV.

"Who doesn't want to play in Europe? You get a chance in the Champions League qualifiers to then go and progress and if not then it's Europa League. That's a big stage, that's where you can go and make a name for yourself and the club can go and make a name for itself."

Miller thanked Falkirk and singled out their manager John McGlynn for praise and the Bairns say the winger leaves "as a modern Falkirk great".

"It became clear that the move represented a significant opportunity for Calvin, and the club accepted his desire to take the next step in his career," Falkirk said.

"Beyond the numbers, Calvin's standards, drive, and personality have made him an important figure within the dressing room. He has helped set the tone during a period in which the club has continued to raise its level year after year.

"His time at the club will be remembered as part of an era that brought pride, belief, and momentum back to Falkirk Football Club."

Hearts have already signed winger Josh McPake, 24, as his contract runs out with St Johnstone, along with Lincoln City centre-half MJ Kamson-Kamara, 20, and Versailles midfielder Tom Renaud, 25.

Falkirk last week signed 18-year-old winger Paul McGovern from Glenavon on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee and added left-back Scott Tanser on Monday after the 31-year-old's contract expired with St Mirren.

A perusal of Opta's data for the 2025-26 Premiership campaign soon flags up Miller's impactful presence.

His 16 goal involvements was the most in the Falkirk squad and seventh highest in the Premiership overall. Only striker Barney Stewart (8) topped Miller's league goal haul of seven.

He had the most touches in the opposition box of any Falkirk player and all his goals came from inside the area. While mainly deployed on the left, he can play either flank or centrally and showed a comfort using either foot, netting four with his left and three with his right.

On chance creation, Miller was a Falkirk standout. He had the most assists (nine) in the Premiership last season and also ranks first in McGlynn's squad for chances created (60), while his 18 big chances created is three times more than any other Falkirk player as well as being second only to James Tavernier (19) in the top flight.

Miller also had the most passes into the box (250, including crosses), completed dribbles (35) and fast breaks (13) in the Falkirk squad.
