Call You & Yours: Have you used weight loss drugs, and what difference have they made?

You and Yours

Available for over a year

Today on Call You & Yours we want to talk about weight loss drugs.... Have you used weight loss drugs, and what difference have they made? The weight loss drug WegoVy will now be available in daily pill form, rather than a weekly injection. It's set to see demand for weight loss drugs rocket- with pharmacies already reporting a rise in demand. 1 in 6 households now have a person taking weight loss drugs, but the criteria to get it prescribed on the NHS is strict, with some nations like Northern Ireland not prescribing it on the NHS at all right now. Buying it is most people's option and it can be expensive; depending on your dose it can cost £100s of pounds a month. Consumers are hoping the pill form will bring costs down. But interestingly weight loss drugs are saving people money in other areas of their lives: they're buying less food, eating out less, even drinking less. But it can be more expensive; you might have to buy some new clothes if you've lost weight. Have you used weight loss drugs, and what difference have they made?
