Alex Horne: The Giant Inflatable Duck

Sort Your Life Out Unpacked

Available for over a year

Dilly Carter is joined by Taskmaster extraordinaire, ‘Little’ Alex Horne, shares his big dreams for his new home to be filled with noise, colour and chaos – but admits it’s currently overrun with builders and ladybirds. Alex brings in three suitably quirky items from home for Dilly Carter to unpack – from socks he’s kept from each episode of Taskmaster (that is, if someone hasn’t already bought the worn ones…), to a relic from Anfield Stadium, and what he proudly calls “the horn of the Horne Section.” From pockets turned inside out on his bedside table to a cherished Chesham pub he hopes to recreate inside his own home, Alex explains how his living space reflects “the funniest job in the world” – dreaming up ridiculous tasks for comedians to carry out. He also opens up about how he separates his role on Taskmaster from being a dad, while still taking inspiration from family life. Dilly puts her football knowledge to the test and she’s left seriously impressed by Alex’s inventive upcycling of his many vacuum cleaners – but can she convince him to declutter his home before his children have to? Sort Your Life Out Unpacked is hosted by tidying expert Dilly Carter. In each episode, Dilly chats to a celebrity guest and unboxes three mystery objects from their home that reveal what is really important to them. At the end, Dilly asks her guest whether they are going to keep, donate or recycle any of the items and, along the way, we learn how to organise and sort our own lives out.
