Kintra

Available for 28 days

Helen Mark MBE presents BBC Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine this week alongside Rab Lennox and Willie. This week, Rab has a report from the Leinster Pipe Band Championships at Newbridge House in Donabate, Co. Dublin. Willie's been to Gracehill to visit the Sister Shawkirk garden in UNESCO World Heritage Site Gracehill, chatting with some international visitors. Meanwhile, Helen was in Kilkeel to find out about some of the town’s plans for the summer and why the Mournes are arguably leading the way when it comes to Ulster-Scots events. There's also a catch up with friend of the show Paula McIntyre to discuss voting in the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards. As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email – helen.mark@bbc.co.uk
