Kiefer Sutherland, FTD Brothers, Anne Enright
Saturday with John ToalAvailable for 29 days
Hollywood actor, musician and devoted foodie Kiefer Sutherland chats about his brand new album and the signature dish he swears by - a hearty Irish stew. Jordan and Cian Adams, better known as ‘The FTD Brothers’, phone in fresh from completing an extraordinary 32 marathons in 32 days challenge across the island of Ireland, raising awareness for frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and an astonishing £1.5 million for charity. Booker Prize winner and first Laureate for Irish Fiction Anne Enright discusses her latest work, reflecting on life, art, and the world. Wellness expert Aidan Malone drops in to talk about ‘Mountain Men’, an initiative for men to get outdoors, share experiences, and break the stigma surrounding mental health. We go live to Derry to hear from the ‘Repair and Share Foyle’ team, who are a community of fixers breathing new life into broken bits and bobs. We’re also joined in studio by young filmmakers from St Colmcille’s High School and Dominican College, who have just been shortlisted for this year’s INTO Film Awards in London. And chef Paula McIntyre serves up grilled monkfish with sobrasada buttered tomatoes and grilled corn.
