Nadia celebrates the Queen of Melody, Runa Laila, through the decades, from the 1960s to today - including some exclusive live performances and interviews from the Asian Network archive. Runa Laila started her musical journey in the late 60s in the Pakistani film Hum Dono, before Runa and her family moved to Bangladesh a decade later, making her debut in the Bangla music space with O Jibon Sathi Tumi Amar. A career that has spanned six decades, she has shown her staying power and versatility through the years performing in several different languages, even to this day, featuring most recently on the Prince soundtrack.
