Impeachment vote underway for President Ramaphosa

The president is accused of covering up the theft of foreign currency from his farm in 2020

A special sitting of South Africa's parliament is underway as MPs are voting on whether to begin impeachment proceedings against President Cyril Ramaphosa – in relation to the theft of foreign currency at his game farm in 2020.

Dozens are feared dead after heavy rain in the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa.
