Hundreds of inmates still at large after Nigeria jail break

Nigerian officials say Boko Haram suspects are among those who escaped and are still on the run.

Suspected Boko Haram militants are among scores of inmates on the run after gunmen raided a prison in the Nigerian capital, Abuja. Officials say more than 8oo detainees escaped after Tuesday night's attack but 443 of them have been recaptured.

And the presidents of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda have held talks at a time of increased tension over violence in eastern Congo, with Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi saying they have both agreed to restore trust and de-escalate hostilities.
