An outbreak of the plague has so far killed 20 people in Madagascar, where it is endemic
An outbreak of the plague has so far killed 20 people in Madagascar. The disease, which is endemic in the country, is normally seen between October and March. But this outbreak started in mid-August, according to Dr Charlotte Ndaiye, the World Health Organization's representative in Antananarivo.
Plus, the head of investigations in the Attorney General’s office in Libya, Siddiq al-Sour, says the so-called Islamic State has re-grouped on the outskirts of the central city of Sirte under a new name - the 'Army of the Desert'.
