Padel is coming to North Herefordshire
The Padel Shed will be housed at a former potato store on a farm near Weobley. The Powell family who run the farm say 'it is diversification at its best'.
Neil Powell, his wife Carol and their son Alex have been part of the landscape for decades, growing a mix of chickens, beef cattle, cider apples and cereals. A few years after ending their potato crops, they had a building that had no use. A team from Spain helped create the court.
The court is the only one of its type in North Herefordshire and the family hope that, following its opening on Saturday 18 July 2026, it will help rally a community together. They are also hopeful to eventually build a second court.
