The stage musical Moulin Rouge is currently touring the UK and is at the Sunderland Empire until Saturday 27th June 2026. Based on Baz Luhrmann's 2001 movie, the stage production has to be retrofitted to each venue, including a moving windmill and a blue elephant. Just as impressive are the costumes. Michael Poulter popped backstage to chat with the production's Head Of Wardrobe, Abigail Morgan.
