Royal delivery for Roo
“The fact that Roo has been hand crafted in Shropshire makes this a very special story.”
An Ironbridge teddy bear maker has recreated the original stuffed version of Roo, the much loved character from AA Milne’s Winnie the Pooh stories.
The original toy is missing from the collection currently on display at the New York Public Library, and the newly created version will be hand delivered by Queen Camilla during her visit to the United States.
Merrythought’s Managing Director, Sarah Holmes, has been telling BBC Radio Shropshire’s Adam Green how the project came about.
