The swarm collector
It’s swarming season, when honey bees leave their hive in search of a new home.
But where they pause along the way is anyone’s guess. It could be a fruit tree… a garden fence… or even the front of your house.
And if that happens, you might need to call a "swarm collector".
BBC Radio Shropshire’s Kate Tebby has been to meet beekeeper, Glyn Williams. He’s been keeping bees for more than fifty years and is one of the dedicated swarm collectors with the Shropshire Beekeepers Association.
