I discovered an endangered axolotl under a bridge

10-year-old Evie was on holiday in Bridgend when she made a rare discovery, an axolotl. These creatures are native to just two lakes in Mexico. An axolotl is an amphibian that is culturally popular amongst younger people due to their cute faces and presence in video games and on social media.
