Girls Rock!: The Melton Group Disrupting Exploitation
A local project empowering young girls to unleash their creative talents to protect them from exploitation has been praised for the impact it’s having.
Surprisingly, teens in the Melton area have been specifically targeted by drug gangs.
Girls Rock! was recently awarded a £10,000 grant from Leicestershire and Rutland's Police and Crime Commissioner Rupert Matthews to help prevent girls being exploited.
