Tenor Jonas Kaufmann on the future of opera
Jonas Kaufmann is the operatic tenor of our time; a star of the musical stage around the world. And at the Royal Opera House in London he'll be singing one of the greatest operatic roles for the very first time - Verdi's "Otello".
Jim Naughtie spoke to Jonas Kaufmann in his dressing room about the challenge of playing Otello and the future of his art form.
