Robert Webb on PG Wodehouse plots
For the first time ever, all of PG Wodehouse’s book and stories are available in hardback and under the same publisher, Everyman, a project that has taken 15 years to complete, producing 99 books.
David Campbell, from the publishers Everyman confirmed the latest book, Sunset at Blandings, completed the set.
"We've done them all; Sunset At Blandings, his very last novel, 16 of what was going to be 22 chapters were found on his Remington 1927 typewriter by his hospital bed when he died," he said.
The actor Robert Webb, starring as Bertie Wooster in Perfect Nonsense, said trying to decipher a Wodehose plot was like “trying to unpick a spider’s web wearing boxing gloves”.
