Part 2

Episode 2 of 2

Anna has found love she never expected. But Mat Burke deserves the truth, and the truth may destroy everything. O'Neill's masterpiece reaches its conclusion.

Anna Christie has found something on the water she never thought possible: a man who wants her, and a version of herself she might be able to live with. But Mat Burke is a Catholic Irishman with an absolute faith in honour, and Anna has not told him the truth about her past. When she does, the consequences are as violent and as tender as the sea itself.

Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama reaches its conclusion in a final reckoning between three people who have spent their lives running from the truth, and must now decide whether love is worth the cost of honesty.
