Celebrating 'The Music Is Black'

Shaun is back to deliver your stone-cold 70s classics. Plus, hour two highlights 'The Music Is Black' - a celebration of Black music which helped shape the sound of 70s Britain.

Shaun is back on duty with his weekly delivery of your 70's musical magic.

Plus, he devotes the second hour of the show to a celebration of 'The Music Is Black', inspired by the opening exhibition at V&A East Museum in London.

Shaun will choose some of the most influential, pioneering and inspiring musicians who helped shape British Black music in the 1970s.

Across TV, radio, iPlayer, Sounds and online, the BBC will reflect and celebrate some of the key genres, personalities, scenes and music that define the last 125 years of Black Music in the UK through a variety of bespoke content and programmes.
