Soweto has more of the best jazz from the UK and around the world, pays tribute to pianist Abdullah Ibrahim, and Nduduzo Makhathini has one more album to share for 4/4.

All this week, pianist and composer Nduduzo Makhathini has been sharing some of the albums that have influenced him for 4/4. Rounding off his week, Nduduzo selects a legendary pianist covering John Lennon.

Also in the programme, Soweto pays tribute to Abdullah Ibrahim, sharing two compositions by the late pioneering South African jazz pianist and composer, who very sadly died on Monday 15th June, aged 91.

Music also comes from Moses Yoofee Trio, Emma Smith and Carla Bley.
