Jess Gillam with... Rebecca Dale

Jess Gillam hosts a listening party with the composer Rebecca Dale, including music by Liszt, John Williams and Rosalía.

Jess Gillam is joined by composer Rebecca Dale, whose works have been performed by artists including Voces8, Steven Isserlis, Mari Samuelsen and many major orchestras. She also writes for screen: her score to Crossing The Line was nominated for best original music in a feature film at the International Music & Sound Awards, and she’s a fellow of the Sundance Composers Lab. Her latest album, 'Studies in Disappearing', is out now via Signum Classics.

Rebecca's musical choices include 'the greatest piano piece ever written' from Liszt, an underrated film score from John Williams, and a reimagining of music by William Byrd. Jess brings along tracks by Dvořák, Lea Bertucci and Rosalía.
