Omagh, Lough Neagh and Whiteabbey

Brass Bands Northern Ireland bring their Spring Festival to Omagh, Eve Blair explores historic sailing ships at Whiteabbey, and singers unite for Sing for the Lough.

Brass Bands Northern Ireland bring their Spring Festival to the Strule Arts Centre in Omagh. Eve Blair heads to the shores of Whiteabbey, where three abandoned sailing ships have been granted protected status. We also hear about Sing for the Lough, a community led initiative uniting singers from across the region to raise awareness of the environmental crisis facing Lough Neagh. Helen Mark visits Limavady to meet a potter helping her create ceramic mice, while Eve meets Emily McGowan at Millbank Farm in Killinchy, once a working farm, now transformed into a vibrant haven of seasonal blooms. And we follow the remarkable challenge of a Laurelvale football fan swapping the stands for the roads leading to the Premiership stadiums.

Presented by Eve Blair.
