A soundtrack for stargazing ft. Cerys Hafana
Composer Erland Cooper shares celestial sounds inspired by the stillness and wonder of the night sky. Also, we visit the safe haven of Welsh harpist Cerys Hafana.
As darkness falls, Erland Cooper guides us through a serene exploration of the night sky. A space filled with vastness and quiet reflection.
There'll be music from Cocteau Twins, Julia Holter and Natalia Tsupryk that mirrors the feeling of looking upward, with shimmering textures, distant voices and slow moving compositions that evoke stars burning brightly in the distance.
Also, Welsh composer and harpist Cerys Hafana shares their safe haven piece - a track that captures the quiet intimacy of travelling long distances by train at night, as darkness slips past the window and distant lights flicker like constellations.
