Marcos Valle is a legendary Brazilian singer, songwriter and record producer who has been recording and performing for six decades. He's lived an extraordinary life. He became an overnight international sensation in the 60s, fled a military dictatorship, dodged the Vietnam war draft, had his music sung by Homer Simpson, made enemies with Marlon Brando, and became an unsuspecting fitness guru for multiple generations. He released his debut album ‘Samba Demais’ in 1963 at the age of 20, a year before the start of the Brazilian military dictatorship. Ahead of his forthcoming tour, he's reissuing his 2010 album Estática.
Robin Scott is a London‑born British musician, producer and visual artist best known as ‘M’, creator of the global hit ‘Pop Muzik’. He's joining us to talk about the newly restored 1985 Vivienne Westwood collaboration ‘The Bride of Fortune’, released on 8 April 2026 to mark her 85th anniversary.
