The BBC's multiplatform teen brand BBC Switch announces a six-date DJ tour this summer across England to liven up school holidays. The tour will be headlined by Nick Grimshaw and Kelly Osbourne, presenters of BBC Switch's Sunday night zone on BBC Radio 1. Starting on Tuesday 22 July at Liquid Nightclub in Ipswich, the tour will take in five other venues with Nick and Kelly DJing at under-18 club nights. The tour dates are: - Tuesday 22 July – Liquid, Ipswich
- Tuesday 29 July – Oceana, Plymouth
- Wednesday 6 August – Liquid & Envy, Nuneaton
- Tuesday 12 August – Ritzy, Lincoln
- Tuesday 19 August – The Place, Cheltenham
- Tuesday 26 August – Oceana, Brighton
In addition to Nick and Kelly, teen clubbers will also see live performances from Basshunter, N'Dubz, H TWO 0 featuring Platinum, Fugative, J Majik, Delinquent and other acts across the six venues. BBC Switch will be photographing and filming at each event and encouraging teenagers to share their own pictures and videos after each event online at www.bbc.co.uk/switch/summertour08.
