BBC announces new digital creative agency roster

The BBC has appointed GT and re-appointed Agency Republic onto its digital creative agency roster, it was announced today, completing a formal review begun in July.

The review is statutory and is required to satisfy the BBC's obligations under the EU Public Procurement Regulations.

Tim Davie, BBC Director of Marketing, Communications and Audiences, says: "I am delighted to continue our relationship with Agency Republic and to welcome GT. They will make excellent partners in our on-demand, multimedia environment and I very much look forward to working with them."

Agency Republic and GT will work alongside the BBC's advertising and media roster agencies across the breadth of the public services portfolio including BBC One, BBC Two, digital channels, Radio networks and other New Media services.

Subject to contract, the new roster will commence on 1 December 2007.
