Ray Biddle, the creator of Rabid One website dedicated to Jon the Legend, has been talking to BBCi's Rachel Binns about his unwavering dedication to Jon Tickle.

So why do you think the public have got behind Jon?

I think partly because he is like a lot of people that watch Big Brother. He's into the internet and he's slightly obsessive and boring.

graphic: open quote marks. When you're watching programs like Big Brother you need a catalyst to annoy people and Jon fits the role better than any actor ever could. graphic: close quote marks.

So you've got one field of people like Jon and they relate to him and he is a bit of a geek and nerd and the other group that are voting for him because he infuriates the other housemates and make great television.

He's been fortunate as well in that the people he's been up against are quite bland, but the public support is definitely growing. The support on the net is Jon's by far, not surprisingly. But public support outside of that is growing as well.

There are a few Jon posters around and Jon
t-shirts, not just at my home I hasten to add, obviously I have a room full of Jon posters.

How much time do you spend working on the website and watching Big Brother?

I quit my job last week so I could spend 24 hours a day... not really [laughs]. I work full time but I do spend a couple of hours in the evening trying to collate the facts.

I don't really think I'm interested in the rest of the housemates at all. I want to do the site purely from a Jon related perspective, so I try not to mention the other housemates if I can.

graphic: open quote marks. Jon irritates them because he's on a different level to them and that does make it more interesting. He can't interact with them on the same level that he's used to interacting with people. graphic: close quote marks.

- Ray Biddle on
Jon Tickle

Jon has managed to survive three weeks of eviction and now two housemates are going to be evicted on Friday. What are Jon's chances?

I'm not worried for Jon. Obviously there are people against him which is a worry but you need a lot more than 105,000 votes against him for him to be out.

It's likely they'll be more people up for eviction this time so there's certainly more danger than before.

What would you say to the public who will be voting this week?

Obviously, don't vote for Jon. It would be the wrong thing to do. It would spoil Big Brother if Jon goes out. It would make it a pale shell.

He's obviously baffled as well as to why the public support him and I think to increase that bafflement by giving him as much support as possible will just make great television.
