A print-on-demand company is moving across Wolverhampton to a larger site

The Printful facility at Air 50 on Well Lane will serve as the firm's UK fulfilment hub.

The company said it was expanding its team at the new site and by moving to a "highly modernised, optimised layout, we can increase our operational efficiency".

It stated the move to the site, about 49,000 sq ft (4,550 sq m), "reinforces our long-term commitment to the city", where it had operated for five years.

The firm said the global company helped "creators, brands, and entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses" by providing an online platform for merchants to create designs and apply them to products.

The new space in Wolverhampton had been selected "to implement a more streamlined, highly efficient floor layout equipped with our latest printing technology".

The company added improved transport links there made it easier for local people to join its teams, both for permanent roles and "as we scale up for the holiday rush".

It also stated its new landlord had "offered us the ability to tap directly into the building's solar panels".
